Summer 2005 saw the launch of e-Marker®, Intrinsica played a fundamental role in the successful delivery of the electronic marking suite designed specifically for Award Bodies. e-Marker® functions by connecting back-end systems to secure web-based solutions providing capabilities such as secure authorisation and authentication, tracking/resolution, data matching, dynamic real time information and form-based data collection. The purpose and key benefit of this system is that it increases efficiency, accuracy, security, and standardisation of marking procedures.

e-Marker® is proving to be an outstanding success, during the summer of 2005 4,500 examiners ‘logged on’ to record over 25 million marks from 2.3 million scripts, in 2006 these figures have shown an impressive increase, 6,400 examiners recorded 65 million individual marks from 3.6 million scripts using the e-Marker® suite.
